The right contact depends on whether the question concerns sheriff services, a court file, a state-police incident, an open-records request, or a particular person's confirmed place of custody. The contacts below are official routes, not a promise that any office holds every record or photograph.

Sheriff and County Records

The sheriff's main number is the published local route for warrant service, court security, civil process, and prisoner transportation or housing coordination. The county has not published a separate public-records extension, public office hours, current-bookings page, booking-photo fee, or mugshot release policy. Ask the actual custodian for a written estimate before treating any charge as current.

Use the county Right-to-Know form for specific records maintained by the county. The county expressly states that this address is not for criminal or civil cases, so it is not the route for a criminal court file merely because the office handles open records.

Courts and State Police

For a Sullivan court matter, the Prothonotary and Clerk can be reached at 570-946-7351, while District Court 44-3-03 is listed at 570-946-4413. Court dockets and dispositions are also available through the Pennsylvania UJS system. Confirm Custody Before Contacting a Prison

Do not assume that a Sullivan arrest is held in a Sullivan facility. Columbia County Prison is the baseline contracted destination identified in the 2022 regional manual. Lycoming County Prison has a documented 2024 contract discussion for some female Sullivan inmates when space is available. Confirm the actual destination with the arresting agency or prison before asking about a particular person.
